Blogging for Confidence #7 - BLUE!

Eep!!! It's done. There is blue in my hair. No turning back. Ok...well I could turn back...but let's pretend it's permanent. It makes me sound more brave, right?

I went to the hair salon on Friday and my sweet hairdresser Meagan kept me calm through the whole process. I am so thankful that she wanted to do it, because I'm pretty sure I would've just messed it up. I really like the dark blue that she picked out. It isn't too drastic of a change, but still stands out and blends nicely with my hair. 

I've already experienced the nerves that come with an unconventional hair color. I went to the grocery store after my hair appointment and it felt like I was in the Twilight Zone, with everyone who passed me by staring at me like a zombie. I'm pretty sure that didn't actually happen...so I think I'll just have to look at my new hair like knitting in public. No one really cares. :-)

Sorry for not posting pictures on Friday, but it was the choice between taking pictures or getting new tires, and the tires won.  Thank you for all of the support and encouragement for me to get this done! I'm not sure how long I will keep it, but I'm so glad I gave it a try. :-)
