The Blush List - Daisy + Gatsby

Knitting // This knit cloche pattern by Laura Irwin reminds me of hat styles from the 1920s.
Crochet // "Don't you think daisies are the friendliest flower?" Ok, now I am mixing movies but I couldn't help it! When I think about daisies my mind immediately goes to You've Got Mail. I love this crochet daisy pattern from Sweet Crocheterie.
Etsy // I love all of Daisy's hair accessories in the movie trailers! I can't get enough of the headscarf she is wearing here. So pretty. This colorful spring impressions silk scarf from Kertis is perfect to wear during the warmer months.
Style // The glitter hair clip she wears in this scene is so beautiful! The sparkle and shine bobbi set and glitter bomb bobbi from ban.do are great modern versions of the style.
Art // I love Nan Lawson's work, especially her Gatsby print.

Food // Champagne macarons! So decadent. So Gatsby.

My level of anticipation for this movie is out of control! I started obsessing over The Great Gatsby trailer the minute it was released and purchased a Gatsby sweatshirt a few minutes later. Every single image from the film looks so beautiful. Daisy's costumes are jaw dropping. I can't wait!! Only a few days until I can finally see it on the big screen!

I have a lot going on this week to keep me from constantly thinking about this movie! There are projects to finish, deadlines to meet, bags to pack, Mother's Day gifts to be made, and so much more. I have a fun Mother's Day craft idea that I will hopefully be able to share this week!

I hope you had a great weekend! What did you do? Are you just as excited as I am for this movie?
