Merry and Bright - Christmas Decorations & Sugar Cookies
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to you! I hope you had a wonderful holiday this week. I am so thankful to have the ability to celebrate the birth of Jesus with family and friends. It is such a beautiful season! I also had a great time decorating my new apartment for Christmas! I got a white tree and decided to go all out and deck the halls with pretty blue, white, and sparkly silver decorations. I found a few really great new and vintage ornaments this season. Hello, Mr. Narwhal! My friend Sara made the beautiful and sparkly CHEER garland hanging above my couch. So cheerful! Haha.
I wish I had more time to crochet ornaments and garlands for my tree. There is always next year! Maybe I should start now...haha. Did you make any handmade decorations this year? I want to see!
I also continued my Christmas Eve tradition and decorated a batch of sugar cookies with my family. Cookie decorating is the best part about Christmas Eve at my parent's house! I think my favorite one this year is definitely the teapot. Shocking, huh? We piped icing on the cookies and watched Christmas movies all day long. It was perfect.
What are some of your favorite holiday traditions? I'm not quite ready for the season to be over. I can't even bring myself to take the tree down just yet...it is definitely staying up through New Year's Day! ;)
I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
